The Canterbury Episcopal School’s annual Cougar Cub Adoption Ceremony kicked off this year’s special program.  Each Kindergarten child adopted a senior this year by both signing a special certificate during Eucharist this past Thursday.  Followed by the Adoption, our Cougar Cub Club fellowshipped with their new friends with making a craft and munching on Cougar cookies.

This adoption is the beginning of a very interactive, influential relationship between our Seniors and Kindergarteners.  They will be partaking in many more activities throughout the year including gingerbread house decorating, Eucharist buddy bonding, and popsicles in the park.  Both the Seniors and the Kindergarteners started this year as students going to the same school, but will finish it with a sibling-like love for one another that can last a lifetime.
