For over ten years, the Soaring Eagle Center Day Program has provided adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with a place to learn, develop friendships, and interact with the community.

The Soaring Eagle Center provides Educational Classes including current events, cooking, science, math and reading skills, arts and crafts, computer, Bible study, exercise, and more!

Real-World Experiences are available through the SEC Thrift Shop which provides opportunities for adults attending the program to develop pre-vocational skills and/or work for minimum wage.

Monthly Field Trips are taken to places such as the Circus, State Fair, Zoo, Museums, and other areas of interest.

The SEC Day Program meets 5 days a week from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm and is available for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have completed high school and live at home. The program accepts TxHmL, HCS, and private pay funds.

We are currently accepting applications for fall 2016 enrollment. Contact Michele Thomas for more information.
