Editor's Note: We Want to Hear Your Sept. 11 Memories, Thoughts

Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013 marks the 12th anniversary of the horrific terrorist attack on America that the world watched in 2001.

That day’s events in New York City were remarkably surreal and disturbing, yet they were the catalyst to a multitude of iconic images and inspiring acts of kindness and humanity that, hopefully, our generation will be remembered by.

Sept. 11 is one of those events that no one ever forgets—in fact, much like the experience of those old enough to remember the JFK assassination, we tend to recall exactly where we were and what we were doing when the Twin Towers were attacked.

To pay tribute to those whose lives were lost on Sept. 11, 2001, we invite you to send us your memories of that day. Perhaps you’ve got a unique personal experience to share. Maybe you were in New York City on 9/11 or have a loved one who was. For a special collection of memories to be published on BubbleLife Wednesday, Sept. 11, please share with us your thoughts and memories, if you’re willing.

Email to offer a memory or story, and we will do our best to include your contribution.
